This article outlines steps to switch from the SiteBuilder tool to our Website Builder 2.0.
The old SiteBuilder is no longer supported. We've introduced a new and improved Website Builder to create and manage your website.
Step By Step Guide:
1. Log into your Comcast account with your username and password (click on Log In on the top right corner of the page). Once logged in click on the tile on the top left corner (right next to the Marketplace menu), then select the Websites tile application (or select Comcast Business Domain and Email) to reach our SiteControl.
2. Click on the Website menu and select SiteBuilder.
3. You will be presented with 3 options:
- Get started with the new Website Builder - Your existing website will be preserved and renamed to old.yourdomain.com
- Continue using your existing website - You can still access and update your current site through FTP
- Need assistance? - Contact our support team for help with this transition
4. To start using our new Website Builder 2.0, click on the first option - Create a new website!
Note: Your existing website will be preserved and renamed to old.yourdomain.com
5. Now you can go back to the Home page and click on the Website Builder 2.0 menu.
Create a new website in minutes using the new Website Builder. Click the "Go to Website Builder" button below, edit your website, and click Publish. Then come back here and click the "Switch to the New Website" button. Until you do, your old website will continue to work.
6. Click on the Go to Website Builder button and start building your website. Once done, click on Publish.
7. Once the website has been published, go back to the Website Builder 2.0 menu and click on the "Switch to the New Website" button. Until you do, your old website will continue to work.
